Holiday Sales Tips
Oh the holiday shopping season... Some love it, some would rather do it all online. And for store owners... you're stuck having to do both.
But thankfully we at EightCig want to make it easier on you. When you order online with us to stock your shop for your Holiday sales we not only provide you with some amazing deals and hot new items and fast shipping, we like to give you a few tips on how to have a successful holiday shopping season.
One of the biggest shopping days of the year, which sometimes even beats out Black Friday, is called Super Saturday and it is the last Saturday before Christmas. If you've ever done some last minute gift buying you know that this hectic day is real. So before that rush hits you let us give you some tips to take it by the antlers if you will.
If you're at a loss at where to start here are a few simple ways to make your holiday shopping season easier on you and your customers.
#1 Purge Mods
If someone is at a loss for a big ticket item to give their loved one, this is where a Purge Mod steps in. These master crafted and artistically designed devices are the Louis Vuitton of the vape world. Any vaper would be blown away to unwrap one of these bad boys. It's not a bad idea to have a Purge mod or two, and safe to make at least one of them a squonk mod.
#2 Stocking Stuffers
Maybe people in your store aren't looking to gift a big ticket item that's vape related. And that's where fun little items like 30ml juice bottles, new tanks, batteries, small pod devices like the MOJO or Aspire Cobble, or some extra MYLE or JUUL pods come into play. Clear a shelf and clearly label it "Stocking Stuffers Sale" to surely grab the attention of shoppers. Stocking stuffer gifts are where people tend to make semi impulsive buys, so you may as well take advantage of that instinct and give them something that's at least useful and fun. Eliminate the chocolate Santa stocking stuffer epidemic!!
#3 Hot New Items
Similar to the Purge Mods there are going to be some people who do decide they want to give someone something big to add to their vape collection, or something rad to get them started. So grab a few new items like the Geek Vape Aegis Legend Mini, the Smoant Naboo, or the Drag 2 or Drag Mini and have them displayed at a reduced price for those who want to wow the vaper in their life but don't want to hand over a couple Benjamins to do it.
#4 Classic Items
There are some customers who will come in and say "My son vapes. I want to get him something but I don't know anything about this stuff'. They won't know what mod they have, what juice they like, or whether they use an RDA or a Sub Ohm tank. So keep it simple for you and them and shop our Holiday Deals section where there are basic and simple items that make any customer happy to have for back up, travel, and add to their collection or keep in their rotation. The classics always sell.
#5 Juice Goody Bags
Have a shelf of pre-wrapped mystery bags of 2-3 bottles of juice ready to go right under the tree! These will help so many people save time and energy, and it will be fun when they're both surprised when the gift is opened. Grab some cheap bags and tissue and wrap menthol juice in blue, savory flavors in red, and fruity or sweet flavors in green. That way people aren't risking much but still get to have some fun and a bit of pressure taken off of them.
#6 Toy Drives
We always try to think of ways for your shop and your customers to give back. And this season, people are itching to do so. Host a toy drive, new or gently used, and make a donation box. Everyone who donates will get a free item, or a discount.
#7 Deals Deals Deals
Write 'em all down! All of them! All the deals you can think of and throw them in a Santa hat or a stocking and have all your customers pull one out before starting their shopping. It's fun, it's festive, it's easy, and it gets them shopping for maybe something new they wouldn't have before, maybe buying a bit more, and still saving some money and having a good time getting into the holiday spirit.
#3 Save More Make More
Shop our clearance section. When you save, they save, they buy more, and in return you earn. Clearance juices and accessories will definitely get you big returns when people buy from you in bulk and take advantage of your sales.
We are dare I say OVERSTOCKED on Mojo's. And with the decline, and even in some people's cases boycott, of JUUL people are looking for new pod systems. At a price point of $3.60 per Mojo these are the perfect incentive for customers. "Get a free Mojo for every $25 spent" Get creative with it, but these bonus gifts and offers for free items get people excited. Plus... these are great stocking stuffers.
